Team Molly is still waiting to compete at the Delta Lloyd Regatta. Yesterday was supposed to be the first day of racing. Unfortunately, by the time we were supposed to start racing at 2:30pm the wind had increased to an average of over 25 knots and gusts up to 35 knots. We were postponed on shore until after 6pm when we were finally sent home. Today we are scheduled for another three races at 2:30pm. The forecast is for much lighter winds, 10-13 knots.
The Delta Lloyd Regatta is the fifth stop on the ISAF Sailing World Cup. We are currently in 6th place in the World Cup Standings and hope to move up after this event.
